On April 10, Erik Sandqvist returns with his new album Alla vatten vi har simmat i via Rama Lama Records. Sandqvist's third record is a reflective yet more light-hearted continuation of his instrumental universe.

The album was recorded and produced by Rhys Edwards (Astrel K, Ulrika Spacek), who got in touch after seeing Sandqvist perform at Stockholm's Fools Gold festival. Sandqvist describes the record as a collage of instrumental diary entries, shaped by time passing, everyday life and moments of immersion, both literal and emotional.

Besides Edwards, the album also sees a new collaboration in the form of Pelle Westlins bass clarinet on two tracks (Ola etablerar begrepp & Jympa bas). As with previous records, Sandqvist plays most instruments himself but also continues to collaborate with Jakob Söderberg (percussion), Lisa Javette (flute) and Jacob Alberts (drums).

With earlier albums Bingo i lokalen and Förstadens tallar är allas, Sandqvist established a personal sound positioned between indie and modern jazz, rooted in memory, place and collective experience. Where his debut focused on childhood and nostalgia, and its successor turned toward the contemporary city and questions of belonging, Alla vatten vi har simmat i is a coming-of-age in adulthood. It is an album shaped by collaboration and continuity, where Sandqvist once again lets music speak.
